A father and son, mirrored in form but separated by experience. I created this piece to capture their emotional bond, the kind that doesn’t need words. The cheetahs to me represent guidance, warmth, and that quiet knowing that only family holds. The phrase chase the dreams you promised yourself feels like a father’s way of saying keep going, I’m watching, I believe in you. Painted on a black metal base, the stillness gives it weight and presence. I surrounded them with blooming florals, not just for beauty, but to speak of growth and individuality. The contrast between the wild animals and delicate petals felt honest, like strength softened by love. This piece is a personal reminder that legacy isn’t just about what we leave behind, it’s about what we pass on through love.
